Hi, I'm John Radford. I've been in the Window Tinting industry since 1976, and after many years of installing window tint, I have now started an online shop for do it yourself window tinting kits. I only supply good quality window films; films that are durable and perform the job required. Have a browse around my website and online shop, choose a film and the type of kit, then order online.
To make it as easy as possible for you to install window tint yourself; I have included measuring & installation instructions, complete with photos, diagrams and videos on my website (printable documents and videos can also be downloaded). Please contact me for any further information you require. |

DIY Domestic/Commercial Window Tinting Kits
Domestic and Commercial films are available in a huge range of performance levels. They are generally available in either Bronze or Grey tones, there are however some special films used for privacy, safety or decorationl. Films can be applied to houses, offices, shops, factories and workshops (some external films are available). The benefits can be of heat / glare reduction, added safety / security and increased privacy (including matt and decorative films for office partitions)
Films are usually graded by Visible Light Transmission (VLT) levels; ie 5%, 15%, 20%, 35%, 50%, 70% (dark-light). Most Solar Control Films are metal based with some of the new "Hi Tech" films being very light in appearance yet offering heat control previously only available with dark metalised films. There are a few dyed films available, however they are limited in heat control and durability.

Safety / Security films are available in several thickness's; ie .004" - .007" - .011" or similar. The films are rated on the Australian Standard AS2208; generally .004" is applied to 5 or 6mm glass and .007" to 3mm glass. The .004" is available in some tint variations.
